[He's been making pretty good progress on the house renovations. Before coming to this world, he only knew the basics, but having to help rebuild the town in the early days has led him to learn more about it. Of course he can't do everything himself, but he could do more than he would have before. Once he gets the windows and the other materials delivered, he should be able to finish this in another day or so...
So there's nothing more that he would like than to just curl up on the couch with Tifa for some relaxing cuddle time. Really it's a wonder that he's started to settle into this kind of lifestyle where in the past he would have gone straight to his desk and continue researching or plan for what to do for the next day. Now it's just so...homely.
Which does make him wonder where Tifa went off to when he steps out of the bathroom, knowing she was in the bedroom not long before. Did she go into the kitchen? But after changing and looking there and not seeing her, he tilts his head slightly... Before he hears the commotion.
