[Tifa tries to remain as still as she possibly can while she waits for him to finish up, watching his face while he does... whatever the heck he's doing with her hair, trying to stifle her own smile of amusement at how focused his eyes look.
And once he's finished, she holds out her hand...]
[She can't even see it all in the mirror, even when she holds it back. He's somehow been able to make her hair stand up almost like a giant tree with a starlight top, and after staring at it for a few seconds, bewildered and awed by his talent...
Tifa falls back against the other end of the tub into giggles, and even a few snorts along with them.
And as she sets the mirror down...]
We look like a pair right out of Marlene's fairy tale picture books...
[... She holds out a hand to Eustace, expecting him to take it.]
[Seeing her overwhelmed in her own fit of giggles only makes his smirk turn into more of a grin as it widens and he laughs at her, taking her hand just as she expects.]
Only fitting for my queen.
[And he'll pull her back to him, his eyes shining in amusement.
To think he could do something so silly with someone. He never would have imagined it and no one would believe it.]
[The water splashes over the edge of the tub when she's pulled in, and she happily crashes into and leans against him, arms going around his shoulders and not minding the way her hair smacks right into his face with water and bubbles that pop loudly and happily alongside the mood.]
[He's going to duck his head so he's not completely hit by her hair. But it is going to be quite comical watching sway and bobble. It may be up for now, but it's surely going to fall soon.]
Hmmm...
[....
And then another snort as he looks at her and laughs.]
Maybe later, this is a little too ridiculous for me to handle, no matter what that reward is.
[It's okay, she can't stop giggling at how ridiculous he looks either, and the longer she stares up at him and his mountain of hair, that smile spreads into the crinkles of her eyes.]
You sure? It's a pretty good one.
[But she'll relent and instead, her gaze softens, and she leans in to rest her head on his shoulder, careful not to stab him in the face with her spire.]
[The poor wolf also looked like she was dying out there...]
If you two can, could always make some ice or snow to save for later.
[She would help, but... you know. She'll fill the ice cube trays... or something. That, and she'll have to go out again to pick up food that isn't covered in melted ice cream.]
Then... let's finish and get dried up. [Before they turn into prunes.] Wouldn't wanna leave the others waiting for too long. Eria could probably use a cool bath, too.
[And without any warning whatsoever, Tifa takes the small bucket that's sitting near the tub, dips it into the water, and dumps it over his head to rinse away the soap.]
[Okay, she wasn't expecting that much of a reaction from him, so his gasp and the way he stares at her in utter shock, on top of how his hair comes down in a complete mop over his face have her falling back in the tub with more laughter. It's so rare to catch Eustace completely by surprise like this, and she knows she shouldn't laugh, but... it's far too cute that she can't help herself. Again.
But when she realizes how loud and hard she's laughing and that she actually snorts, her hand shoots up to cover her mouth.]
Sorry... I didn't think you'd be so surprised... [Another giggle that she bites back with her lip catching between her teeth.] Are you okay?
[When was the last time either of them have laughed this hard?]
Save for the look of betrayal like a dog who was dumped in a bath against their will before he reaches for the bucket and quickly tries to retaliate by doing the same to her.
Of course, he has a smile while doing so, if she manages to catch it.]
[Tifa, on the other hand, is less prepared for the cooler water, so when he dumps it, not only does she gasp just as loudly, if not louder, but the weight of her wet hair comes tumbling down over her head and shoulders, and it makes her sink a little into the water, her skin squeaking loudly against the ceramic while her hands grasp at him for purchase and support so that she doesn't completely fall all the way in.
And now, they look like two very wet, very betrayed dogs sitting in the tub.
...
....
She gives her head a violent shake so that she sprays water at him, and so that she can peer through the soapy strands.]
[She's going to hear him snort and laugh above her as the bucket drops into the water when he holds her, leaning back just a bit when she shakes her head.]
Eria still has to come in, too. It's going to be more of a mess.
But she lets that kiss linger for just a touch longer, having wanted to do this since they climbed into the bath, and she may tease him with the tiniest little nip of his lower lip before she pulls back. And she probably looks very unsexy despite her efforts otherwise as her hair has already started to dry in the air that's grown warmer at the kiss.
But that's okay, because she still loves him in spite of how he looks... and he feels the same, right?]
Come on. Let's get dried up? Before things really start to warm up in here...
[She takes the towel and drapes it over her head first, patting down what she can before she's standing, eyeing Eustace with a coy grin as she gives him a little bit of a show— twisting, flexing, stretching for another towel for him that she drops over his head—before she's wrapping hers around herself...
As her hair grows more untamed while it continues to dry in the heat, unknown to her...]
Eustace can only watch with a brow raised before there's the towel over him. With a low chuckle, he'll use it to slowly dry off his hair...and can only imagine how poofy it'll get from it.]
I don't think we can let the dogs be for much longer. Melody was already barking earlier.
[And there may be another whine out there. Eria wants reliiieeeeefffff.]
[Tifa's already climbing out of the tub, casting a glance back at Eustace just in time to catch the way his hair looks now...
...
...
And she's not sure if it's better or worse than it was before they got in the bath.
But she won't say anything and open the door when she hears a whine from the other side, and—]
Oh—!?
[As soon as she opens in, in tumbles Violet first, drifting in like a balloon when she was clearly floating there with her ear pressed right up against the door. Eria is there too, giving the tiniest little howl, and Melody...
...?
She stares up at Tifa, then at Eustace, then back up at Tifa, and with a loud yelp, she runs away in fear.]
[Eria doesn't seem to care about their hair, once she sees Eustace in the bath with him casting some ice dreamotion into it, she's booking it. So there will be a loud shout from Eustace before there is a SPLASH from the tub...
...
Meaning Eustace missed Melody's flee from fright, all the while Violet just fufufus and giggles.]

[He looks at her for a moment before he reaches up to the top, sculpting the tip by fanning the ends of her hair to look like a very wonky star.]
Done.

The mirror, if you please.

I have to say... It turned out better than I thought.

I can wait... But yes, I feel more energized. How long that will last once we're out, however...
[That heat was no joke.]

[It was completely unexpected that he actually gasps in surprise, eyes wide in shock. Wife!?!?
It felt good because cool water BUT WIFE!?!?
And now all his hair is just sopping wet down along his head, his bangs fanning out a bit over his face.

Eria still has to come in, too. It's going to be more of a mess.

[And now, she gives him a very pointed look, though its effectiveness is diminished by the hair still draped over her face.]
I have a living room to clean up.
[Again.]

All right, I'll take care of the bathroom and Eria. Hopefully when we get out this place is still in one piece.
