[The feel of the vines on her legs startles her, and he'll hear her gasp before she's swallowing. Hard. But she doesn't fight them, and instead, she'll just try to meet his gaze, more red bubbles filling the room even as she stumbles over her words.]
[Her breathing is already starting to quicken, heart racing as the heat begins to rise in her all over again. Quite the turn of events... and a surprising one, to say the least, but who is she to stop him?]
[His name falls out of her on a breathless whisper, her eyes slamming shut to stem that shudder that threatens to take hold when that vine passes right through the space between her thighs, surprising her, and when she opens them again, it's with a touch of exasperation mixed with playfulness and fiery desire.]
The rabbit only ran the one time...
[In the moments leading up to this, but he ran, too? Snuck away from her and came here all on his own!?]
But she might like it here now with her bold, brave wolf.
[There's a little more fondness in his eyes as he looks down at her before there's a small, quiet laugh.]
Hm... Might be more than just a "few."
[He leans in closer, just enough for their lips to brush against each other.]
You're never leaving my sight again.
[And before she cam respond, he will capture her lips and pull her into that deep, passionate kiss she's been wanting, those vines now wrapping around her arms and wrists to truly keep her bound.]
[That fondness in his eyes and the soft sound of his laugh make her heart skip a beat and then some, her love for him only growing in the moment.]
Like I'd want to.
[It's said quietly against his lips before he seizes hers again. And sure, it's playful and passionate, every move they both make after that driven by lust as the vines wrap around her and pin her down for him, but there is something loving in the way she watches him and kisses him and says his name. Reverent. A flame that, even after all this time, has never once died out or even so much as flickered.
Her Ice King. Her brave, bold wolf. Her everything that she is willing to give herself up to so that they may show each other again and again the things they feel for each other.
She wishes that she could stay wrapped up like this for longer. That they didn't have to return to their lives back in Reverein for just a little while longer. They have a couple of nights up here, but honestly... as she lies here basking in this heat that they share between them, she wishes that they could just escape. Take a week or two and pretend that they are the only two people in this world, far away from their problems, from their day to day lives.
This is but a glimpse of what she wants, but she'll take it regardless.
It's a good thing too, because they never once leave the confines of their room or the pool for the remainder of their first day and night there. Room service is brought in, and they share their dinner in bed before going out to the pools again, and then he keeps her up well into the night, making good on that promise to never let her out of his sights.
Something that she will gladly oblige.
And she can't remember the last time she's slept this well since those nightmares had swept in after Orkili.
Guess the orphanage visit would have to wait until morning, and it does. After grabbing some coffees, off they go, Tifa walking just a bit crooked from the very long night before but looking as refreshed as ever in spite of that, as they make their way down from the resort to the other side of the town. She's given Eustace the bag of canned goods to carry while she balances a bag of stuffed animals and toys on each shoulder.
As they come up to the doors, she stops to look up at it.]
Looks a lot better than it did the last time we were here.
[He was a little bit concerned about her condition... Feeling somewhat guilty since he was the cause of it. He also wondered if it wouldn't be better to wait another day, but Tifa was insistent.
So he takes the heavier bags and makes sure to walk at her pace as they head down to the orphanage.]
They were really stressed back then, weren't they. Probably helps a lot of those young dragons have grown by now.
They were pretty small when we found them last time, weren't they?
[Her smile warms at the fond memory.]
Looks like they've gotten bigger to accommodate, too.
[She motions to the building as she starts to walk towards the front door again, pointing out the additional parts of the building and the yard that they've expanded.]
[Tifa whirls around to the voices and sees two dragons—a blue and a red one—rushing right at them. She doesn't know what to do with herself, a bit flustered as the very large, scaled bodies come barrelling through the air their way, their wings beating loudly.]
What—!?
[And then she's falling back a step as the red one lands in front of her, just inches from completely knocking her over in a tackle. A good thing too, given how sore she is. In all of her surprise, the realization is a bit slow to dawn on her...
[Tifa grabs hold of Eustace when the red dragon nudges its nose at the bag on her shoulders and she almost loses her balance again, but there's that recognition that flashes in her wide eyes as she looks them both over.]
You both got so big...!
[The blue one in particular nearly reaches her chest in height now as he(?) nudges the red one aside. "Hey, I want some toys, too!"]
[Tifa shoos them both back through the wide front doors, giving Eustace a bit of a crooked but grateful smile before she jogs in after them, and the two of them are greeted by an onslaught of dragons, both bigger and smaller, of varying sizes and colours.
"Big bro and big sis brought toys!!!" The red dragon calls out, voice a bit higher and more girly than her blue counterpart. It had been harder to tell back then, but she can see and hear it now. But the callout draws them in, and Tifa has to wave her hands out in front of her.]
Alright, one at a time, please. Where's the one in charge?
["In the kitchens!"
Tifa slides the bag from her shoulder.]
Think you could hold down the fort for a sec? Can't be that much harder than all the dogs, yeah?
[Tifa reaches out to take the heavier bags from him, exchanging the ones with the toys because she doesn't dare set them down.]
I'll go let them know we're here. I won't be long.
[She walks off with the canned goods, a few of the younger ones calling after her, asking where she's going, and she just flashes Eustace an amused smile.]
Everyone be good for big bro Eustace, alright? Don't give him too much trouble while I'm gone.
[Although they all go "Yessssss" he can see the beady glint in their eyes...
...
And whenever Tifa returns, it'll be utter chaos. After all, it was just one man against a horde of young dragons, and not even Eustace can control them. All the toys are out and spread everywhere, but it seems several have literally attached themselves to him, one hanging off his arms while the smallest one is by his head blabbering about his ears...
And whenever he sees Tifa, there is just one big face of what took you so long help me.]
[Tifa is in the middle of chatting with one of the dragon volunteers as they come back into the front playroom, and at first she doesn't notice, too caught up in catching up that she doesn't see Eustace among all of the dragons and the movement... and the noise. It's when the dragon stops and stares that Tifa's attention shifts forward, landing on Eustace.
...
....
And she bursts out into a fit of giggles at the sight. A fit of loving, affectionate giggles with all manner of heart bubbles drifting up and bursting around her. Enough that some of the smaller dragons fly over to play with them.]
[The dragon beside her giggles as well before she's rushing in to grab the one that's perched on his head and shoulders, pulling the little one down as it protests while Tifa takes the one hanging off his arm to take into hers, and there's a strange ache in her chest, a twinge that she hadn't felt in... a little while as she sees him like this.
And though he might look annoyed, she knows where his heart really is.]

I-is that what the Ice King would do?
no subject
To keep his little rabbit from running away.
no subject
You don't have to worry about that. Not anymore.
[Her lips turn upward into a coy smile.]
... Think the little rabbit is loyal now.
no subject
[His thumb slowly runs over her lower lip.]
She seems to like running.
[By now the vines are up at her thighs, and one slides against her skin in that space between her legs, right over her center.]

[Just a smirk as it's his hand that will now be teasing her at her chest, pushing her more onto her back.]
Unless...she really doesn't want to continue.
no subject
[She falls onto her back, hair spilling out beneath her, her eyes growing dark with a newly stoked flame.]
Just a few extra precautions?
[Her body arches up for him, her head lifting from the pillow to seek a kiss that would seal her fate.]

✨ another timeskip to orphanage ✨

[A small hum of agreement as he looks around in some wonder.]
At least that means they might not need our help...
[Though he might have jinxed it as there is the sound of fluttering wings and excited voices flying their way.

Dragons are a lot more livelier than dogs. Not to mention they can fly.
You can have a turn.

...Still think it's not a bad look.
[It warms her heart, even if it might not his.]
Feel like staying a while then? I know the two would probably like for us to stick around for a bit. And I can "have my turn."
