This journal includes pertinent information regarding the dogs Eustace has taken under his care. The first few pages discuss the breeds in general with individual pages for each dog following. They are grouped by breeds and include basic biographical information including tidbits on each dog's personalities and special abilities. Although not up for adoption, they are readily available for use and usually around for visits or being involved in various hijinks, so anyone is free to reference the dogs for the logs and threads. If you have any particular questions, feel free to comment to this entry or PM.

The Flower breed is still something of a mystery as there is no known information regarding them. It is unclear if they are native to this world, Songerein, or if they come from a different world. Thus the name of their breed is unofficial but is the simplest and easiest to go with. Appearance wise they look most similar to Golden Retrievers.
Although the pups are about six months old, they are still about the size of a one-two month old pup. They seem to age slower, so it might be some time before they mature into true adolescent dogs. Overall they are a friendly family but they do have their own quirks and personalities. They also have their own special abilities so be careful.
Their most notable feature is the flowers that grow on their coats. Although each dog has a dominant type of flower, other types will bloom as well. They can be plucked off easily without harm to the dogs, and will also fall freely with new ones quickly blooming to replace them. When the flowers fall, they can sometimes crystallize and turn into flower candies that can be safely eaten. The flowers can also be used for any purpose, including cooking.
Originally found at the riverbank by Eustace on the first day everyone entered Songerein, he and Nanako Dojima brought them back to the treehouse neighborhood where they could live safely. They have their own tree trunk home that is furnished with beds, blankets, crates with toys, and automatic food and water dispensers. Their main diet consists of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and a little bit of meat, particularly fish. They can also eat sweet candies (not chocolate!) and enjoy honey and nectar. Although Eustace is the main caretaker, they can live on their own and anyone is welcome to assist or play with them. Because of the temporary nature of being in Songerein, it's advised against in adopting them, so they are considered communal and will roam around as they please.
The Corgis are similar to the ones found in the real world and both breeds are represented: Pembrokes and Cardigans. Pembrokes are the more popular well-known breed without the tail and smaller compared to the Cardigan. The Cardigans are larger and have tails. What is unique about these corgis is they have leaves as part of their floofy necks, so they need extra care in grooming similar to the Flowers. Currently the corgis are living with Eustace.
The corgis were found in a magic tree by Eustace and Alice (McGee). Nestled a little ways into the northern forest, the tree, dubbed "the Corgi Tree," is not native to Songerein and was brought in from a different world. The tree has a special enchantment that allows its inhabitants to have immortal lifespan, but as it was cut from its world, the magic could only maintain within the tree itself. When, the original guardian that used to live with the dogs stepped out, time resumed and he perished immediately. This left with something of a curse that was inflicted on Eustace for a short time. After resolving and solving the mystery of why the corgis could not leave the tree, enchanted collars were created to allow them to safely leave the tree and other items can now be safely removed. Those who enter the tree are also safe to enter and leave without consequence. There is a strange owl that also lives in the tree though its true identity is currently unknown.
Through slowly deciphering the journals left behind, it is discovered that the corgis were bred to be guardians of some kind, capable of fighting in battles. They have their own armor within the tree and already show their talents and are already well trained. Although the writing script is different, many of the words and language are similar to the Welsh.
The Corgi Tree is fully furnished with an upstairs bedroom loft, kitchen, living area, and bathroom that connects to a sheltered outdoor area covered by the tree's roots. It has a garden and where the dogs can do their business. Higher up are various watch stations. The tree is also self-sustaining, providing ample food and water for the dogs, however anyone else living in there will need to gather their own food.

Abilities: She is similar to her mother in that she can produced thorny vines for defense. She is still learning how to control them, so if upset it's best to try and calm her down, usually by distracting her with a toy or flowers.

Abilities: If upset, she is capable of creating rain and a small pool of water that expands as time goes on. Although manageable, it is imperative to calm her down before she floods out an area.

He prefers being in the gardens and quietly investigating his surroundings.
Abilities: When frightened, large petals and a cage of thornless vines will encase him as if to shield him from danger. The only offensive ability he seems to display is his flowers falling off and releasing a mild sleeping chemical through the pollen. At the moment it will only make one feel drowzy but it's possible to become more potent as he gets older.

Seems to show talent in figuring out general tactics. The strongest and most experienced of the group, he is capable of bringing down threats and troublemakers quickly.

Personality: Bri is the most affectionate and will be quick to seek company with others. She also exhibits signs of being the most pampered, preferring to be groomed often and will readily jump in the bath to stay clean. She dislikes walking in the rain unless she has a coat on and will avoid mud and unwanted dirt as much as possible, while enjoying spending her time in the garden and sunlight.
Abilities: She can find any flower or plant if shown a picture or given a sample to sniff. Her sense of smell is also the strongest, making her the best tracker...however she dislikes it because it would require her to go through areas that could get her dirty. Will require more training, but pairing her with Aerona seems to be the best solution for now.

But he has a good heart and will look out for anyone he considers under his care.
Abilities: The fastest of the group, it's as if he can conjure wind to increase his speed. Suitable for running both short and long distances as he also has great endurance, stamina, and agility. He also has a talent to weave between legs and trip anyone not paying attention.
