[He sees that look and only smiles cheekily in return.]
You're quite determined.
But you're right. [His hand still holding onto hers, fingertips slide over hers as he leans in a little closer, brushing over ring.] There's only one woman I'm devoted to.
[What if she doesn't want to get off him... What if she wants to stay right here until it's time to wake up?
She can feel his words and his breath warm and tickle her lips when he speaks, and tempting as it is to breach the distance and kiss, she still has some self-restraint left. Enough for her to move her eyes away from his lips to meet his eyes.]
Maybe later.
[Her arms slip around the back of his neck now and she leans back only far enough that their faces are no longer touching, using his shoulders as an anchor before she's giving him a gentle tug, and he'll see the deep flush in her cheeks clearly in the warm lighting of the bar.]
[He's moving back in again but this time he doesn't stop short—with both arms now around her, one slides lower down her back to her hips, and his mouth moves to the underside of her jaw, brushing and taking in some of her skin as he playfully nips her.
He couldn't resist. Her attempts to pull back and her flushed face only drew him in more. Of course he does intend to live up to his promise and give her the dance she wants, but it really is hard for him to not tease her a bit first.]
[He draws a low, long giggle out of her, but she doesn't pull away from him this time. Even if she wanted to, he has her caged and held in his arms, and there's nowhere else she'd rather be, but if he keeps this up, they're going to wind up postponing that dance all over again.
With a purr in his ear, Tifa combs her fingers through his hair and allows him the space to move, and she even wiggles her hips in response. His lips and his teeth send a ripple of warmth that pools in the fire growing in her belly, and she affords herself a little more of it before she finally manages to string together something coherent.]
[How far is he planning to go to break her? Or did she accidentally break him in the process?
Both questions that are pushed to the pack of her mind as she tosses her head back with a sound of approval when he finds the more tender places on her neck, and the click of her belt under his fingers and the warm touch on her skin, and the music that plays slowly and quietly in the background could all unravel her right on the spot...
It comes close, and her fingers in his hair pull him closer, keeping his lips to her neck and urging him on, as she tries to force the words to spill out, but her husky voice betrays her.]
I'll still have to go make it, you know... That one won't be for free.
[There is a quiet, disappointed whine that she buries into his shoulder when he removes his hand and when he takes his lips away from hers, replacing his hot breath and the soft brush of them with a quick peck that she knows was meant to tease.
Her eyes very slowly flutter open to reveal the reds that have turned to a syrupy dark brown, darkened with the shadows of the lust swimming in her head... all thanks to him, and she stares at him with a fire that's slowly kindling behind them.
Before she, too, is pulling back, but Tifa takes his hands in hers.]
She frees his hands now that he's on his feet so that she can slide the tables closest to the jukebox over to make some space. The bar is pretty open without them, and she doesn't think they'll need a lot of room, but better to be safe than sorry, right? Nothing for them to knock into if she decides she wants to be twirled or if he picks her up.
And then, Tifa lifts her hand to offer to him.]
What a gentleman.
[... Despite that her belt is still very much undone thanks to him.]
[He'll help her move the tables and... He notices that, so he's going to be even more of a gentleman by walking up to her...and buckling it. Can't have too much temptation now, can we?]
It's for the wedding, right? Is there a certain kind of dance you have in mind?
[She looks up at him with wide, hoprful eyes as one hand moves to his shoulder, the other to rest over where his sits at her waist for when he decides to take it.
The last time they "danced" was back in the Shakespeare dreamscape, wasn't it? Thinking back to it, it wasn't even a dance. Just swaying to the distant music...
She intends to change that for this wedding. It's just a matter of knowing where to start.]
You know how, yeah?
[She isn't so sure she knows all that well, but Tifa breaks into a smile all the same.]
You'll have to lead, won't you? I've seen how they do it in movies, and back in that dream, but... that's it.
[She passes a thoughtful look over to the jukebox.]
I don't think I have anything in there that's got the right tempo, but... there's nothing saying that we can't change that, right?
[This is a dream world, after all, so...
Without even touching it, there's a click from the jukebox again and the song that's currently playing fades away and is replaced with another that's more fitting for the occasion...]
[Tifa slips her hand into his, and dips her face away.]
It was from a TV show I used to watch back in Midgar after I shut the bar down for the night. It was a sappy, romantic show about lords and ladies, and these big, fancy balls. ... It's not important.
[Even if it's no secret that Tifa is a romantic, talking about it is still embarrassing!!]
[Her gaze wanders to where their fingers are laced with one another's, and to the ring that sits snug on her finger, the aquamarine catching and sparkling in the light.]

You're quite determined.
But you're right. [His hand still holding onto hers, fingertips slide over hers as he leans in a little closer, brushing over ring.] There's only one woman I'm devoted to.

She's a lucky girl.
[As she feels the need to remind herself once more that she's the luckiest in this dreamworld, and the next.]
But I think... you owed her a dance too, didn't you?
no subject
It seems I did. And she made quite an elaborate show to remind me. But... If she wants me to join her she has to get off me first.
[However, an arm slips around her waist to pull her closer as he leans in close enough for their lips to touch.]
Unless she'd rather do something else...?
[Terrible man.]

If he behaves.

Then he'll have to pay for that drink.
no subject
[His mouth travels down her neck, his hand running over her waistband all the way to the front.]
...Or maybe... [There's an audible click as he undoes the buckle.] ...He wants to have another first.
[Now he's really going to be salacious with his hand, slipping it down into her skort, sliding against her skin.]

No... It won't take you too long. [He lifts his face to be in front of hers, lips now brushing against hers.] I could have it right now...
[He is definitely not thinking of a normal drink as his hand slips further, slipping beneath the band of her underwear.........
Before pulling out as he gives her a soft peck on the lips and then pulls away completely.]
But you said you wanted a dance first.

You owe me one, remember?
no subject
[A light chuckle as he gently nuzzles her before finally sliding off the stool.]
And I do intend to keep it.

Um... mm-hm.
[What is she getting all flustered for now!? After all that?]
I wasn't sure. I don't know a lot of dances, to be honest, but... maybe something with a few twirls and spins?
no subject
[His hands are lingering on her waistband, specifically that buckle, before he slowly slides them over to her sides.]
Twirls and spins...that would be the waltz, then. It's a simple, easy one to learn.
no subject
The last time they "danced" was back in the Shakespeare dreamscape, wasn't it? Thinking back to it, it wasn't even a dance. Just swaying to the distant music...

Do you remember the beat of the music? If you can choose something with the right tempo it'll help.
no subject

How's that?
no subject
It's good.
[He adjusts his hands to more properly hold her, and then—]
Where did you hear it from?
no subject
[Tifa slips her hand into his, and dips her face away.]
It was from a TV show I used to watch back in Midgar after I shut the bar down for the night. It was a sappy, romantic show about lords and ladies, and these big, fancy balls. ... It's not important.

I'm surprised you didn't want to make our wedding more "royal" themed.
no subject
I could've but...
[Her gaze wanders to where their fingers are laced with one another's, and to the ring that sits snug on her finger, the aquamarine catching and sparkling in the light.]
I wanted it to be... us themed.
no subject
Us themed... I see.
[There's a soft smile as he leans in to lightly tap his forehead against hers, thinking of everything they've prepared for so far.]
I like that, too.
no subject
Speaking of themes... We're gonna need to start thinking about what kinds of songs we want. Especially if people are going to be playing.
no subject
[Slow, quick quick, slow, quick quick—and a turn.]
I don't really know many songs or music... Except one.
