[He had wondered why he was receiving a message from Lyria, wondering if there was something wrong or urgent. But when he opens it up and sees THIS EXTREMELY ADORABLE ILLUSTRATION he actually had to clutch his chest and hunch over from the sudden pang of ADORABLE FEELINGS that assaulted him. WHAT IS THIS. THIS EXTREME FLUTTERY FEELING. THIS EMOTION THAT SQUEEZES HIS HEART AND MAKES FLOWERS JUST EXPLODE AROUND HIM???? Is it because of the adorable art?? That it's from Lyria?? BOTH?!?!?!?!?
Is... Is this how it would feel...if he had a daughter and she gave him a drawing...
Oh primals is he going to start viewing Lyria more like a daughter than a sister now what has happened to him—]
It's cute.
[He finally managed to pen some words.]
Very cute.
[So much so he wants to tear it off, frame it, hang it somewhere—
[ IF ONLY SHE COULD HAVE WITNESSED HIS REACTION maybe she should have given to him in person, but a part of her was just a little bit embarrassed to show the picture to him. She wasn’t the best at drawing (even though she was trying to get better at it!) but she was compelled to draw for him as a small thank you. Honestly, it was one of the smallest things she could do—
SHE JUST CARES FOR YOU SO MUCH, OKAY ]
Really!? You really think so!? Oh, thank you so much!
I will send you another when I draw the others, if you want!
Not at all, and taking him with you will help grow a bond. But his favorite toy is any kind of tug toy, especially the ropes. You could try playing with him that way to get him to ease up. The underside of his belly is also a weak point. If you can manage to tickle him, he'll roll onto his back and forget about everything.
But oh!! Such great advice! Don't mind Lyria scribbling those notes in the same journal they are writing it. She's trying to do it in the corner as a personal note for herself and not necessarily to be seen, but the words still pop up: ]
Take Caerwyn on walks Play tug-of-war with rope toy Scratch belly (remember: weak point!) Feed more cheese from sandwiches Call him "good boy" more
Thank you, Eustace! I'm determined to make him really really like me!
I had a bit of experience in the other world I was in so I had an advantage with that. But for here, it mostly relies on focusing your dreamotion and then trying to understand their emotions.
Your excitement was so great he could practically hear it off the page. No really, he's wondering if he actually heard the words— Or maybe she squealed for real down there.]
[...This girl... Yet he's smiling anyway as he just closes the journal and starts to make his way down there. He can still hear the dogs clamoring because WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS GIRL, so he'll just enter through the bottom door.]

Don't put too much pressure on yourself. I'll like whatever you do.

I... I'm going to make them the best drawings you have ever seen! I promise!

Looking forward to it.
The dogs aren't giving you too much trouble are they?

[He can easily see Caerwyn deciding he needs to protect Lyria and just stick close to her every chance he gets. With that in mind...]
You should take him with you whenever you go out.

[ Eustace is this your subtle way of always having something to watch over her even if you're not there...... ]
You don't think he'll mind? He usually always keeps his distance from me, but I can tell he's curious!

I'm sure it won't take long.

[ Please don't ask what she is thinking, but you may hear the distance sounds of barking from downstairs ring out amongst the herd of corgis. ]

I could try to teach you. I've managed to with dreamotion.

I haven't quite figured out how to work "dreamotion", but it just comes naturally to us, right?
So wait, does that mean you've talked with the dogs!? Like, how we are doing right now!?

Thank yooooooooou!! I'll see you soon! [ She's even doodling a little smiley face next to her words! ]

You really got them riled up here...

Cue the girl standing in the middle of the herd of dogs, throwing a rope around in the air for playtime. ]
Woof! Arf arf...!! Look Eustace, I'm trying to talk with them, too!
[ They are barking back? IT'S WORKING, RIGHT? ]

....
..............]
Lyria, rather than talking with them, they're starting to be concerned if you've hurt your head.

[ Wait, did she do something wrong!? ]
