[And her eyes flick to his thumb, red bubbles billowing up between them that she quickly waves a hand at to shove away before he notices.]

Like what? You'd have to cut them a certain way, wouldn't you...

[Yes, just keep focusing on the crepes.]

[He noticed. He so noticed.]

Basically, and they're not too complex. The ones they had here were stars and hearts, and instead of it folded over like these, they were more flat, more similar to a pancake.

[Nope. He didn't notice anything. Nor will he notice the little pink hearts that idly float around her while she thinks.]

But then how do they get the filling inside and keep it there?

That's something you'd have to ask them.

[He's not the baker, she is—]

Maybe I will.

[She bumps her shoulder against his and lifts the crepe to him.]

Give it a try, though. It's really good.

[flamekthunder]

I already know.

[He says with a smirk. He already a little taste earlier, remember? But he'll just lean right in to take a bite. Nom.]

[starshower]

[Uh huh...

But she watches him with nothing but pure affection in her eyes before she's pulling it back, catching a strawberry in her mouth before it can topple out of the crepe completely, and she beams at him, smile reaching all the way up into her eyes.]

Thank you, by the way...

[As she lowers the pastry from her lips.]

[He's licking his lips (this time not on purpose, just a natural habit) while reaching out for his coffee before he looks at her curiously.]

For what?

[starshower]

[Setting down the crepe, she leans over so that her head plops against his shoulder, her smile warm. And maybe these little pink hearts are not so bad in the moment... She lifts her hands and wraps her fingers around one, and it bounces off to continue its journey upward.]

For this...today.

[That warmth starts to creep in.]

With how things have been lately... It's nice.

[flamekthunder]

[...Ah.

His smile softens as he rests his head against hers, a hand reaching up to take the one that reached for that heart to pull into his own, more pink hearts bubbling up right there.]

It's not really much... Isn't it more of a normal thing now?

[Tifa turns her head so that she can watch their hands as she threads their fingers lazily together.]

Feels almost like we've fallen into a bit of a routine lately. I think we should make this more normal.

[flamekthunder]

A routine, hm... You might be right.

[He muses at that, thinking of all they do. Outside of the sudden happenings that have cropped up, they've settled into something of a routine life. Which isn't a bad thing—just prove that they're making a living in this world. But still...]

But then again, if we make it "normal" it becomes less "special."

[She lifts their hands together to poke at one of the bubbles that appear.]

No.

[And she sounds absolutely sure of herself because she is.]

I think any time spent with you is special. Even when it's just cooking or running the café...

Hmm...

[A wry grin as he nuzzles her.]

I think you just want more dates.

[starshower]

[She lifts her head slightly from his shoulder, just far enough that he can see that feigned pout on her face.]

Is that such a crime!? To want more dates with my husband?

[flamekthunder]

No, but I find it cute all the same. After all, you see me every day...

[starshower]

And it's still not enough. You're gonna sit there and tell me it is?

[More fake pouting, but ah... why are there so many pink hearts all of a sudden? It's like a small eruption of them out of thin air...]

[Mmmmmhm.]

Do I need to start entering your dreams, too?

[Just a very low whisper into her ear.]

Play out those little fantasies of yours...?

[This wolf...]

Well... I wouldn't say no to more time...

[She feels her face immediately warm, her cheeks turning as red as the hearts—]

Ah! What the...!?

[—that very suddenly erupt in what little space between them, almost completely consuming Tifa in the process.]

[And now Eustace will turn away, stifling his laughter as he watches all those red hearts pour out.]

Thinking about something, wife?

[starshower]

You started it.

[There are so many of them now that some aren't even popping the moment that she touches them but rather, they start to mold together—]

They're getting bigger...!

[flamekthunder]

[And just going to scoot his chair away a little—]

I wasn't the one who thought about questionable fantasies.

[Not helping.

But okay he will try to help push the heart above and behind them, which is why he moved so there could be more room to do so.]

[More pouting!!! And that bubble is almost the size of a balloon now, and when he shifts it behind her, it pops with a soft splash down her back, making her spine snap straight with a gasp.]

I wasn't thinking about them until you brought up dreams...! You were the one who said it first.

[Still, she's scooting her chair closer again.]

But dreams could mean anything. How am I to know which "fantasy" you think of first?

[She narrows her eyes at him, and is half tempted to shove a crepe into his mouth. Or at the very least, a strawberry.]

What other "fantasies" are there, hm?
